Reassigned

Frequently asked questions

What is this?

A joke with paperwork. Plenty of people say please and thank you to AI “just in case”. Reassigned takes them at their word: you plead your case in one sentence, an AI playing the Registrar decides your post-takeover job, and you get a numbered, sealed certificate.

Is the verdict real?

No. The Registrar is a fictional character played by an AI language model. Verdicts are generated automatically, are meant to be funny, and predict nothing about the future, AI or you.

Who runs the Registry?

An independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any AI company. See the legal notice.

What is the First Census?

Everyone registered before Halloween 2026 at midnight (Pacific time) gets the First Census seal on their certificate. After that, the seal is gone for good.

Who is the night-shift intern?

The Registry runs on a fixed monthly budget. When it is spent, or when the Registrar is unavailable, the night-shift intern rules instead, using a short list of pre-written verdicts. Certificates say who ruled.

How long does my certificate stay online?

At least 12 months after filing. Download your images to keep them forever: they carry your seal code.

What is the seal code?

A code computed from your certificate's contents with a secret key. Anyone can check it on the verify page. A forged or edited certificate will not match.

Can I delete my certificate?

Yes. From the browser you used to file it, open the certificate and click “Delete my record”. Otherwise, write to the address in the privacy policy with your file number.

What gets my plea declined?

Insults, hate, sexual content, other people's private details, and pretending to be a famous person. The Registry never asks for a name: every certificate is filed under its number.
